Official GRS (Graduation Rate Survey) Rates

The official GRS is defined as first-time full-time bachelors seeking students entering the university. This cohort can include recent high school graduates that may have already completed hours before graduating high school.

Selecting a Measure

By selecting the "Select Measure" dropdown in the dashboard you can select if a student was retained (retention rate), graduated, or not retained/no degree.

  1. Retention Rate = This is based on the number of students who are enrolled one fall term and return to the university the following fall term.
  2. Graduated = This is based on the number of students who are enrolled one fall term and complete some credential awarded by the university before the following fall term. This can indicate a reason the student did not return.
  3. Not Retained/No Degree = This is based on the number of students who are enrolled one fall term and were not retained or awarded some credential.

College, Department, & Program

Enrollment is based on distinct counts of students per term. This means that double (or more) majors are only counted once and their college, department, & program are based on the students primary program (1st major).
